Easy Cheezy Sauce

Adapted from "Rejuvenate Your Life" by Serene Allison. Can be used for pizza, on top of warmed broccoli, in lasagna, etc.


1 cup raw cashews, sunflower seeds or almonds
1/2 large red bell pepper
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1/2 of a lemon)
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon tahini
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon green onion or a small slice of onion


Blend all ingredients until creamy. Add more water if it is too thick.
